Truth is colored by perspective and as per free will, each of us has the right to prefer or not prefer something. To find or not find something offensive. And the list goes on. I think people just need to get over their "my way or the high way" brand of "Absolutism" to where they assume that their outlook on life is absolutely the only one possible in the entire Universe. People who have absolutist mindsets will usually also simultaneously claim to be extremely open minded and rag on people who are being hypocritical or closed minded.
